The Red Queen

She is a merciless butcher.
Her kingdom is a slaughter house.
"Off with her head" echoes through the endless hallways.
Headless statues fill the gardens,
Roses painted in blood glimmer under the blue moon,
Ashes of the dead nurture the synthetic trees,
Feeding people poisonous apples.
She's a powerful sadistic dictator,
Followed, obeyed... loathed.
Her unfaithful lover is a knave,
Pouring lies and hateful love into a prosthetic heart.
Fake and fearful courtiers worship her,
Throwing diamonds and compliments at her feet.
People in her kingdom are just food,
Food for her gruesome appetite, for gore and carnage.
Oh how she basks in their terror,
Wrapping the cape of authority around her!
Where are the saviors you might ask.
They are in her courtyard,
Rusting away with the others.
She has defeated Alice.
She overthrew her White sister.
Now she holds the cards.
She is the queen of Wonderland.
